Roomster is a very easy to use app. Not complicated at all. Once downloaded, you tell us what you are looking for and we provide you access to an every growing list of rooms and roommates. There are 4 steps and that's it.
1. Create an account using your phone number
2. Validate your account.
3. Tell us what you are looking for.
4. Send messages to people you think would be good to live with.
Any Questions? We have 24/7 customer service on the app with a chat feature provided by Intercom. There is always a live person available, when times are busy a representative will get back to you at the earliest chance.
In many ways Roomster is like dating for roommates, and much like those apps, Roomster is a freemium service and we charge for communication between users. Your iTunes account will be charged at confirmation of your purchase and will automatically renew for the same price and duration period as the original package. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings on the device. If you haven’t subscribed via iTunes, you can manage your subscription through Roomster.
Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period
Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal

Listen to the bad reviews
Do not bother- they charge you extra money 5 days after your subscription and the app doesn’t even work properly. Than the customer service is hard to get ahold of.
This app is a complete joke
FYI on all the good reviews on here - the company asks in its sign-up email for a positive review on the App Store in exchange for a free week’s worth of usage
That’s actually just bribery
In actual fact, the app is useless and you’ll basically get spam messages from a bunch of weirdos who absolutely don’t want what you’re offering

Definitely the scammiest app I’ve ever come across. I regret uploading my ID to verify my identity because I’m confident it will be stolen when this app is inevitably hacked.
If you wanna pay 16 bucks for the opportunity to message people on a worse and less functional version of Craigslist (for just 5 days!!!), here’s your chance.
