If you play more than one of my Ancient Games, I suggest you delete the individual apps and install the main one (Ancient Games). It will allow you to play them all and save disk storage.

The past is full of fascinating board games that haves been mostly forgotten. The Ancient Games collection aims to resurrect them as a meticulously crafted mix between what a player wants from an historical game and what he/she expects of a modern application.

-Play against the IA, friends and random players from around the world.

-Free cloudsave across the collection : your progress in one game is available in all the others.

Currently, the collection is comprised of four games : the Royal Game of Ur, Senet, XII Scripta and Puluc, but 40 games are in the works!
Each game will be added to the Ancient Games app and will have its own individual app as well.

I absolutely love this game! It is so similar to backgammon, except the Mesopotamians developed this version of the game first!

What a wonderful interface, and the calibration of dice probability is very fair!

Brings back memories of past lives

JK. Lots of fun. Game play is good. Love the graphics. As authentic as a computer game based on a 4500 year old board game can be, I imagine.

Thanks :) This version is the lite version of the game. It is a few updates behind the main app (Ancient Games). AG contains all my games, with additional features so I suggest you upgrade to that. It is also free and can be downloaded from the main menu.

...from an awesome dev! Dude, do you do all the design, strategizing and coding yourself? These are a notch above, way above. Hope you win some awards for your passion. Need more of a bio on your website... but then again, the mystery is working for you...

I do everything indeed (even the bugs :)). I wanted to play Senet and the only digital one back then wasn't great so I decided to learn how to code to do a basic version. Then I realized I also needed graphics, so I learned that too. From there, it kind of snowballed into a collection of ancient games (the fourth game, Puluc, is about to enter its beta testing phase!).
I finished my History master degree (France so not sure what the equivalent is for you) and decided to focus on ancient gaming full time.
I hope for awards too, but at the moment, the positive feedback from the players is all the fuel I need to keep going (and the modest revenue from the apps help too ahah)
But I agree, I need to take the time to write a bio (the website is still in construction because I learn that as I go along), but if you want I have a Facebook page where I interact often with players (Ancient Games) and I am planning on opening a Discord, etc.
Just need to find the time.
