Description
The SalishFont app adds phonetic symbols to iOS 8 device keyboards to enable the user to type in the Salish language. Until now it has been difficult for Indigenous Language Speakers to utilize their language in iPods, iPhones and iPads. Whit this app's keyboards Salish speakers can enter various Interior Salish dialects into any iOS 8 textfield, including social media, note taking apps and web browsers.
The phonetic characters in the SalishFont app keyboards include numbers, standard punctuation, glottal stops, vowels, accented vowels, consonants, glottal consonants, and wedged consonants.
The app includes installation instructions including keyboard enabling.

Ratings and Reviews
It’s glitchy, good for getting the letters but can be glitchy.
So I bought the keyboard and it’s good overall, but sometimes when I try to exit back to my English font it won’t allow me to leave and glitches like that. Annoying but not a deal breaker.
