This app is made for the Structure Sensor accessory. If you do not have a Structure Sensor accessory, please visit http://structure.io to learn more.
Capture objects in 3D with your Structure Sensor.
This simple and easy to use application allows you to capture 3D models of objects and people by simply walking around them with your iPad and the Structure Sensor accessory.
Captured objects can be sent via email (uses OBJ format).

Impressive compact easy to use scanner!!
It's just getting better every app update and the software engineers keep increasing the precision of the hardware scanner!! The day I will be able to scan eye details lids I will fall down my chair!

I've only used this for a short time, so my opinion may improve........
As a starting point, and comparing it to Skanect, I think it is great. I was not sure they could pull it off considering the processing required by skanect.
It is still lacking many features, but it works and has not crashed yet. The loss of tracking can happen but it is better then skanect.
I can still get better surface detail quality with Skanect.
Would love to see selectable scan box sizes like skanect and the ability to save on the tablet. Other then learning issues trying get things in the scanning box, it works.
I'm not chained to my computer as with skanect!!!!!!!!
Off to the great outdoors to scan.
