Ratings and Reviews
So much untapped potential
This game has all the elements to be a great game, but as it is now it is frustrating.
Suggested improvements:
-make the order you get players the same for everyone. Some are WAY more powerful than others so making it random creates unfair advantages
-allow the human player to choose how aggressive their defence is. Right now the penalties feel random and out of the player’s control.
-make it so that the players can’t go offside. Right now it seems like half the time it’s a bad call.
-allow the human player to choose when to kick the ball or at least choose how quickly the player will try and get rid of it. Watching a player do stupid footwork in front of the net and then lose the ball is frustrating.
-allow formations to be changed mid game
Then maybe the outcomes of the games won’t seem so pre determined.
Tackling is broken
Strangely, I have really enjoyed playing this game. I have managed to look past all the horrible reviews and give it a try but sadly I must only agree when people say it’s all luck. Some games I press the tackle button at the optimal time to tackle but my defender waits too long and makes a horrible tackle and fouls the other guy. The other team then wins because of my defenders stupidity and I’m questioning why I’m still wasting my time on this pathetic game. Then there are games when I randomly tap the tackle button just to see what happens and my player makes a phenomenal tackle which then leads to my victory. Seems all very luck based. Most of the time, when I’m playing this game, I find myself fighting the urge to launch my I pad across the room. All very maddening, please fix tackling.
