Seashore keeps getting better! So smooooth - even on old macs! (Fully functional, in-app purchases allow people to support the project - still 100% free).
This is an easy to use but powerful image editor. It supports "layers". Imagine GIMP/Photoshop "light" - most of the features non-professionals need to create awesome images.
This incredible software is originally the amazing work of Mark Pazolli and many others (see the credits in the user guide).

I’ve been using this program since 11 years, I never saw something as it on any platform. Simple, useful and efficient. Don’t expect all the capabilities of Adobe Suite, but for my organization, using this program was marvelous to create and retouch various images. I was still using ver. 0.6.3 from 2010, I'm really happy to see that program back on track with a sustained development and updates!
