It's great

I use it all the time. It has lots of features I don't use, mostly i just wanted a dictonary - there are some things it doesn't do that I can't find anywhere but it has a good dictionary and works on my phone. I think most of the data is from EDICT.

I like the favorites and really love the history feature. I wish it had a way to search prefix or suffix by hirigana. I also wish i could save my history somehow as it's the most important thing as i use it when hear a new word.

Thank's for your work.

Great app!

Pros:

Kanji drawing is surprisingly good at picking up what you’re trying to write even if your input is subpar. The dictionary has everything you need, bookmarking for flash cards, default decks for JLPT, grade school levels, etc. I used it everyday for months on end, it’s almost perfect!

Cons: Two things!

The search history function is just too much. It saves everything you type in SO fast, with the typos and the mistakes. Considering this is meant for people who learn, there is just no way to keep a clean and helpful history, because every time you look up a word it will save both the pre-kanji-selection hiragana input and the kanji writing in separate history entries. God forbid you take a second break mid-word or type something in wrong, you’d end up with 5-6 entries for what is essentially one actual search. I wish I could at least turn it off.

Also, I sometimes wish there were more example sentences for words that are not tagged as 通用.

Overall, amazing app, but the history function is kind of infuriating...!

とても便利です

Je l’utilise depuis 3 ans. Très complet avec des exemples de phrase et expression. On peut dessiner les kanjis ce qui est très utile quand on ne sais pas le son et il y a les étapes pour écrire le kanji. C’est l’outil essentiel pour mes cours de japonais!
