The dyslexic reader ,

Game changer!

“As someone who’s dyslexic, this app has been a game changer. It gives me short, clear summaries of books so I can keep up with conversations at work and stay on top of new learning initiatives. I can listen to the audio versions in the car or while working out, and even download PDFs of the summaries with built-in short learning sessions to reinforce the key points. The adaptive learning techniques help me actually remember the information without spending hours reading. Efficient, practical, and absolutely worth the investment.”

Good summaries but the audio is not great

I bought this expecting to listen to the summaries in the car, but I can’t listen to them because they are computer generated audio, not human voices. It’s like listening to a long IVR menu.

Service is great, app is substandard

The content is great, and surprisingly worth the hefty price tag. The app, however, is substandard. It looks good at first, but is painful to use. The most striking example is that when reading all links redirect to the website, instead of opening in a second app window on iPad, or simply navigating to another book and having an easy way to come back. This makes the reading experience less enjoyable, and frustrating at times. Another thing that is a detail but very telling is the fact that the app doesn’t respect the system dark mode: it has to be setup manually in a menu, which is really surprising. Please invest in your iPad app, you have so much potential!!
