You can't receive "Shutter Counter" value from Canon Utilites.
For receive "Shutter Counter" value, you can use this application.

Just download this application and connect your camera via USB.
You can check "Shutter Counter" value unlimited times for unlimited cameras.

Before start app, please close any applications, that used cameras connection.

Single-DIGIC III, all DIGIC IV, and some DIGIC V EOS cameras are supported.
Now, newest processors, such as Digic 6,7,8 supported too.

DIGIC II and dual DIGIC III cameras are NOT supported. Shutter count is not available for the 5D (Mark I), 1D Mark III, and the 1Ds Mark III. EOS M (mirrorless) models are not supported.

Fix support for Canon EOS RP,
Support for Canon EOS 250D / EOS Rebel SL3 cameras.
Newer EOS models (1D X Mark III, 90D, 200D II, 250D, 850D, R, Ra, RP, R5, R6, M6 Mark II, M50, Rebel SL3, Rebel T8i, Kiss X10, Kiss X10i, Kiss M) and PowerShot (G5 X Mark II) report shutter count in increments of 1000 shots.

Works as described

Tested and confirm it works on my EOS SL1 (100D) and 6D. Took a few clicks on each camera and it took a minute for the count to update.

Best price for basic EOS shutter counter. Dev noted not all cameras work with the app. Always read the fine print.

Don't bother downloading free shutter counters outside the App Store as they are known to harbour malware.

Canon 5D Mark ii

Downloaded and tried multiple times. Just shows spinning wheel with Flash card removed and no other applications running. Waste of money

Doesn't Work

I downloaded this to check the shutter count on some of my older Canon DSLR's. All I get is a spinning wheel and nothing ever comes up in the shutter count display. It can read the camera type but that is it. I've tried on a Canon 5D Mark ii and a Canon Rebel T5i. Please help.
