Does need a bug update.

The reason for this is that on exiting it in El Capitan, it says that it quit unexpectedly. I haven’t encountered the other bugs, but I’m sure they exist. Good solid game otherwise.

Yes, it needs an bug fix update

Pretty fun game, the sort of turn based game I like, but full of bugs. Crashes lots on my Late 2012 27” iMac (32GB RAM, SSD, 10.10.2) during gameplay, so I have to save all the time. During one game all the other AI players started taking their turns moving around the map taking planets and fighting for about 5 rounds without letting me play. When they were finally done, I was way behind getting planets and I had tons of resources sitting in my coffers from my planets. For the harder levels, I think the gameplay is unfairly designed as AI ships with the exact same armour and weapons as I will have a laser hit of 465 whereas I will only hit with 245. Also they can shoot through all sorts of asteroids and debris and hit my ship but when I try and return fire it says that my path to the AI ship is blocked and I can’t shoot at it. There must be a better way of making the game harder without just giving the AI ships “supernatural” powers.

I do like the theme of the game and I like the camera viewpoints from the weapon’s point of view. The game is fun and can chew up lots of time. If you don’t mind the bugs and the limited options, this game is fun and has great potential. Myself, I hope they come out with patches soon and it would be nice to get the features I mentioned.

This review is for the original version, I will update it when I play the new version 1.4

Boring

Boring and repetitiive…don’t waste your money. Not one of Sid’s better games.
