Description

Singscope is a tool for checking the pitch of your singing. It analyzes the singing voice and shows the pitch in the music scale (C, D, E, F, G, A, B) as function of time. You can visualize your pitch and singing features, such as vibrato, in the scope.

Simply tap on the microphone button and sing to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, and watch the pitch curve showing in the scope as you sing.

Features:

Latest Updates:
- Fix a compatibility issue for MusicXML sheet music exported from MuseScore 4.
- Add a setting to customize the key note of movable-do and similar solfèges. This setting applies to the cases when no sheet music is imported to the app, and thus, no key signature is available for reference.
- Update modules for ads services. The minimum system requirement is increased to iOS 12.

Recent Updates:
- Add keyboard shortcuts for the Play (spacebar), Record (R), and Rewind (Z) functions on Apple Silicon Macs and iPad / iPhone connected to a physical keyboard.
- Add Import function for importing Singscope recording and MusicXML files.
- Update the underlying audio module to make it better compatible with the latest iOS and iPadOS versions.

Definitely the best pitch identifying app on iOS

This app flipping GRAPHS the notes you sing, and you can replay different parts of the recording, even without having it saved. It identifies the note playing in yellow on the graph, and in grey, it also picks out overtones as well as separate notes, such as voices of other people singing with you, or music playing in the background. It’s amazing seeing the grey overtones of falsetto an octave lower than the sung note. It makes learning to sing more intuitive and fun.

The smaller green graph at the top of the screen records the shape of the wave, which can give valuable information on the timber and quality of the sound or note being sung. You can record and save files afterwords, and recent recordings are saved automatically. This app is amazing. I highly, highly recommend it, it’s perfect. I can’t think of a single improvement.

I have zero expectations from apps. I opened it, sang, it traced my pitch. I came to give it 5 stars. Thank you app for being amazing

Cool App

Have free version. Trialed the paid but rarely have opportunities to sing loud enough for good practice, unless I’m driving - not the best time to play with an app.

That said, the chances I do have to sing and record, this app records and displays the notes very well, and taught me to associated changes in how certain note changes (etc) felt meant I am overshooting and bouncing back to the note. Made it immediately better.
Sampled the built in scales etc - not bad, does all it says if does. If the xml importer works and you can find xml (to have the app play and record the notes from the song you’re working on for example) this would be much much better). May be there, I just didn’t try it.
