Good alternative to smart watch to monitor sleep
It’s a pretty sleek app with useful readings from the ring. It worked fine for a few days but suddenly I couldn’t login anymore. Customer support took a few days to answer but they resolved the issue and I was able to login again. The data syncs with Health. The aggregated weekly or monthly views show trends and the values come with interpretation guidelines.

Review Sept 2024
I have used V1 and V2 periodically over the last few years. I generally do this consistently for a few months to get a good look at whats going on with the data collected and then forget about it for a long period until I feel something may have shifted.
The reason for this review is that I’ve noticed there has been a steady increase in the ability to collect data, in the quality of the data reporting, and an effort to continually improve its usefulness as a health monitoring tool.
Even though I own both V1 and V2, I plan on purchasing a V3 because it is a very nice upgrade.

Do not Upgrade Firmware
After upgrading the firmware on my original sleep ring 2.0, to try out the 3.0 app, it doesn’t display sleep stages or any thing useful. If you had the new ring it probably will, but the old ring does nothing.
Then after going back to the old app, the ring no longer syncs with it, because of the firmware update I am guessing.
If you own the original ring, don’t update the firmware to try the 3.0 app, or you will basically brick your ring. The 3.0 app doesn’t even sync to Apple Heath.
Also, the 3.0 app collects data now, where as the 2.0 app did not according to apple app store privacy details.
