Why I built the SoShe app:


I learned after my first birth that I should have been better prepared.

(And yes, I used all the pregnancy tracking apps.)

Now I'm a mom of three, and I WISH I knew then what I know NOW.

Absolutely! It's fun to know that your baby is the size of a clementine, or a kumquat. Other apps do that really well.

But do you know how to push (and how not to push)? How to reduce the risk of tearing, or an unplanned c-section?

Do you know what speeds up labor even more than Pitocin? Or what to do if you're having back labor?

Do you know which natural methods are shown to get labor started, which don't actually work, and which to be really careful of?

Did you know that you don't have to deliver while lying on your back, and that this might not be the best option anyway?

I didn't know any of this. And I really wish I had.
