Description
Speedometer Simple is a simple speedometer that is very easy to use.
This app uses phone's GPS to accurately determine your speed.
Speedometer has large fonts and supports mph, km/h, and knots speed display. Optionally, city name and a compass can be shows on the screen. The app also shows the traveled distance. Average and maximum speed is displayed in an optional screen as well. Interface color can be set one of many pre-selected colors. Speedometer app can record the speed during your trips and provide post-trip statistics like maximum speed, traveled distance etc.

It’s a simple but great program - I still have to discover its full capacity
it doesn’t work when you don’t have your phone screen on
it never works for me when i turn my screen off and put my phone away so it’s sort of a useless app and i give it 1 star

Super easy and intuitive, it is beautiful and functional. The Dual display has a lovely analog needle speedometer on top with a nicely sized legible compass at its centre and a clear trip odometer below. It is very clearly arranged. Tapping the screen gives speed by voice. The clear round compass within speedo works very well. Altitude is given precisely. Sweep the bottom half of the display across and you have a choice of large digit speed, map plus speed, or avg max duration start data. The settings icon is in a top right corner far from banner ads (sweet and easy thank you) leading to a full featured menu easily understood. The trip record start/stop icon is up at the top left, unobtrusive again.
Turning the phone sideways for Landscape orientation eliminates the analog speedometer, replacing it with the the lower display options in full screen mode. The HUD option appears in landscape mode. Landscape display has a choice of 22mm white numbers on solid black, map with small speed window, or start-duration-max-average information.
Features: Multi trip recording includes graphics of past trips with speed-distance data kept in settings, hidden from sight yet easily and intuitively accessed. Choice of units given. The uncluttered appearance is easy to assess and understand. History of trips is easily viewed and edited in settings. $10 to remove small banner ads. A superb creation! Praiseworthy
