Privacy policy isn’t very private

I actually read many policies, and was quite surprised to find how extensive the sharing of identifiable (not anonymous or aggregated) data is (related to this app), including to unrelated third parties, etc. This goes far beyond the policies of most any other company that I have come across, and though it is a “privacy policy”, implying they keep identifiable data private, that does not seem to be the case, with the policy stating it will share/sell that data. The privacy policy says they will not keep it private; so not really a privacy policy as the name suggests, and not a very responsible way for a company to do business by tricking the public/users into legally accepting the terms of a very lengthy agreement that almost no one will ever read, because people simply expect that “privacy” means privacy, and not that the policy is about ignoring privacy. If I am wrong about this, please correct me only with quotes from the written “privacy policy” and not just general remarks, which don’t override the actual written privacy policy/agreement.
