The SRV Canada VRS app is an accessible telecommunications application. You must be Canadian to register. The app is free to registered customers who are Deaf, hard of hearing or speech-impaired and use sign language. The app allows Canadians to connect to sign language interpreters to make telephone calls in either English and ASL (American Sign Language) or French and LSQ (langue des signes québécois). Before use, download the app on your computer or laptop and connect with SRV Canada VRS.

The app includes the following features:

24/7/365 Call Connection
Connects with an interpreter in real-time to make telephone calls in sign language (ASL to English and LSQ to French).

Sign language design focused
Puts sign language front and center and in large screens to ensure the highest visibility of sign language. Experience the fluid integration of both signed and spoken languages.

Bi-lingual Interface
Allows user to Switch between languages, English and French or LSQ and ASL, quickly and easily.

Advanced Chat and Text Functionality
Can store repeated text messages, such names and numbers, in a chat directory for the caller to send quickly to the sign language interpreter. Chat messages can be printed and downloaded for future reference.

Sends and receives VideoMail, just like “voicemail” messages. Callers can click and record their VideoMail messages using sign language, customize their outgoing video greetings, set the ring duration, and activate email notifications for when there is a new message.

One Click 9-1-1 call access
Has a priority button available to make urgent 9-1-1 calls. 9-1-1 calls are prioritized and placed as top priority in the call center’s queue.
