Excellent controller, mediocre compatibility

I got the Nimbus for my iPad Pro 9.7 for more ergonomic gaming, since a lot of the touch-screen controls are rather bad. This controller feels great, and is of excellent quality and precision, however support for MFi controllers is very lacking. The Nimbus is advertised as compatible with Apple TV, iOS devices, and Mac OS X, however not flawlessly. Not even close. The Companion App gives an outdated list of games that support the controller, and even then the support is not consistent. Some games do not map the buttons and controls properly, so you end up having to switch between the controller and touch screen.
On Mac OS X, it's even worse. Yes, you can pair the controller but it works with almost NOTHING. How can it be advertised as compatible when the MFi protocol doesn't work with any Mac OS games??

These inexcusable issues aside, the controller works great with Mines of Mars, AG Drive, Implosion, the Final Fantasy series and almost all Square Enix games, the Grand Theft Auto series, Monsters Ate My Birthday Cake, and other AA and AAA titles. If you stick to well-reputed publishers, you should have a pretty good time. The controller feels absolutely excellent, and I want to like it very much. However, it lacks proper support from iOS developers, Mac OS X, force feedback, and a white variant.
