Cal D ,

So close

Good app, but it’s missing its real market- Bill Reminders. I don’t know anyone who cares for app subscriptions or even pays for them, but everyone pays bills. So when adding a new “subscription” I’d rather see choices that are relevant such as Internet, Water, Hydro, etc rather than a long list of apps I’m never going to subscribe too. Sure I can add custom entries, but these should be the default.

Additionally, I’d like to see an option to increase the text size.

Hi Cal,

Thank you for your feedback!
Originally we’ve build an app to track trials and subscriptions on AppStore with a key feature to not miss end of Trial, the app was not about bills.
However we are implemented a few features for real-life subscriptions & contracts and we would also deliver a few more improvements very soon.

Hopefully we would be earning 5-stars at certain point ☺️

Sincerely Yours,
Subsee Team

Feedback didn’t work

An update of this app in 2023 let the iCloud feature unusable, I don’t know why and I written many emails to developers, and they didn’t solve this problem. And after a month, this app can’t even display my total expenditure correctly, what are you doing?

Great but not…

Edit: I’m bringing this down to one star. With a paid subscription your supposed to have your subs saved to iCloud and sync between devices. This isn’t working… Also I’ve contacted the app dev and haven’t gotten a reply. So for now I can’t recommend this app if you need to sync between devices.

I’m enjoying using this app for my bill reminders and my subscriptions. It’s very simple to add the subs and you can even add a photo if the app or service you’ve subscribed to isn’t on their list for the logo. My dislikes, and honestly, the things that should be part of this app, are dividers as a user option, on or off, to divide the subscriptions by the upcoming month. It’s currently a list all jammed into one. So if it said January, then those that are due that month would be under, then February, and so on. But the biggest for me is that you only get one reminder per item. Even if your premium. You select a per defined number of days before the due date and it sends you the reminder. But what if I want to be reminded the day of, 3 days before, 1 week before and maybe 15 days before? Can’t, you only have one to pick from. I don’t trust my memory to set a reminder 1 week ahead and then that’s it, I’ll definitely forget a few days later. Just add the option for 3-4 reminders/notifications per subscription that the user can choose to use and allow the user to select whatever amount they want. Maybe I want 2days ahead instead of 3… But give this one a try, the others on the App Store are hit and miss, I trust this one. Even if the single reminder/notification sucks.

Developer Response ,

Sync is tied to iCloud Drive, when iCloud / iCloud Drive is disabled or crashes, sync settings are reset. Most often this happens when the account is canceled, if you return the current one, then after synchronization the subscriptions will appear again.

Kind Regards,
Subsee Team
