Description
TakaABC is the best ABC-book to help master the alphabet. More than just an ABC-book, it is an interactive tool where children can work with the help of images and sounds for each letter. TakaABC has an exercise mode to test knowledge. It gratifies the player with stickers when he or she succeeds and it stores the results to keep track of the progress.
TakaABC is so complete that it can be played in both English and French, the images and sounds adapting to the language. It also allows to study in 3 different types of fonts: serif, sans serif and script. Finally, you can select the alphabet in lowercase or uppercase.

Correct sans plus
Il est bien de connaître le nom des lettres mais ce n'est pas très utile dans l'apprentissage de la lecture. J'aurais aimé avoir l'option d'utiliser seulement le son de la lettre.
Aussi, il faudrait corriger le son de la lettre (i) qui se confond avec (u) et la lettre (s) qui se confond avec (f).
Il serait bien aussi que les images changent pour la même lettre car on a l'impression de tourner en rond.
L'environnement n'étant pas évolutif, on s'en lasse vite.
Waste of money
There is a great lack of imagination in this game. I had heard good things about the taka brand so I paid to download this one, and in the same “game” there were 4 repeat images with the same letters.... there aren’t different levels to reach or anything that gets the child motivated or excited.. it’s the same over and over... very disappointed.
