This app is really helpful. You can get help with what you’re going through and also help out other people. You do have to make some posts and comments of your own before you are allowed to chat with people. You can also unlock achievements for certain things you do. Everything is anonymous and you can choose what information you give out.
Not a safe space
There is an issue with lack of proper moderation that causes users to feel unsure about posting and needing to worry about being bullied. The owner also is not fit for being in charge of a space for mentally ill people who are suffering; having an issue where he takes people’s comments far too personally and responds inappropriately and harshly.
HORRIBLE APP DO NOT DOWNLOAD
doesn’t help with mental health, you’ll be bullied and ridiculed for posting about your mental health. the moderators don’t care about how people treat one another and they’re not even involved.
most topics don’t even pertain to mental health or getting peer support. it’s simply just a toxic community. the owner should’ve kept vent instead of shutting the large user base that had and forcing everyone to use talklife (an app that is absolutely awful) don’t bother downloading this at all
