Fun but Flawed...
I’ve been playing the game for a couple weeks now, and it has been my go-to mobile game for killing downtime.
The game is fun, don’t get me wrong; they have the core mechanics down well. The problems come in when you look at balancing matchups and collecting “gear” to power up your player. I cannot speak for others, but I keep getting the same few items over and over from bags. This would be fine because you can use the cards to upgrade the gear you already have... however, it costs an absorbent amount of coins to do so, and the only way to win coins is to play others, which is a gamble in of itself. The matchmaking can be extremely one-sided, which gets frustrating at times. Ideally, there should be more ways to earn coins, such as playing against A.I. or something. Additionally, the daily challenges are way to difficult to complete, and some of them require you to spend a heap of gems to finish. This, and the overpriced shop, make the game come off as pay-to-win, which is a shame.
All things considered, it’s a fun game to kill some time with, but don’t get seriously into it unless you got some money to burn.
I would also like to add that the review about Tennis Clash “saving their life” comes off as horribly tacky and disgusting. Don’t use mental illness as a way to push your run-of-the-mill tennis game. I almost lowered my rating just for that.
Needs improvement
This a really fun game but needs tons of improvement. It makes no sense sometimes how unbalanced the opponents are. The game updates every day with no improvement. You never get any good cards to open.
I like the free bags we get but there needs to be more given.
