CREATE LIFE ON MARS
Lead a corporation and launch ambitious Mars terraforming projects. Direct massive construction works, manage and use your resources, create cities, forests and oceans, and set rewards and objectives to win the game!
In Terraforming Mars, place your cards on the board and use them wisely:
- Achieve a high Terraform Rating, by increasing the temperature and oxygen level or creating oceans... Make the planet habitable for future generations!
- Get Victory Points by building cities, infrastructure and other ambitious projects.
- But watch out! Rival corporations will try to slow you down... That's a nice forest you planted there... It'd be a shame if an asteroid crashed right on it.
Will you be able to lead humanity into a new era? The terraforming race begins now!

• The official adaptation of Jacob Fryxelius' famous board game.
• Mars for all: Play against the computer or challenge up to 5 players in multiplayer mode, online or offline.
• Game variant: Try the rules of the Corporate Era for a more complex game. With the addition of new cards, including 2 new corporations, focused on economy and technology, you will discover one of the most strategic variants of the game!
• Solo Challenge: Finish terraforming Mars before the end of generation 14. Try new rules and features in the most challenging Solo mode on the (red) planet.
DLCs:
• Speed up your game with the Prelude expansion, adding a new phase at the start of the game to specialize your corporation and boost your early game. It also introduces new cards, corporation and a new solo challenge.
• Explore a new side of Mars with the new Hellas & Elysium expansion maps, each bringing a new set of twists, awards and milestones. From the Southern Wilds to the Other Face of Mars, the taming of the Red Planet continues.
• Add the Venus board to your game, with a new Solar phase to hasten your games. With new cards, corporations and resources, shake up Terraforming Mars with the Morning Star!

- When creating a Venus Next game, the “Solar phase on/off” option is now available when Venus Next is “on”.
- The Info button in the multiplayer Join game screen is not causing a UI issue anymore.
- Fixed some crash technical causes.
- The option to remove a resource from Olympus Conference #185 is now given before the Mars University #073 card effect is triggered.
- Fixed an inconsistency during discard actions in multiplayer (different actions could be recorded by players).
- Fixed an icon issue on Rotator Impact #243.
- Fixed UI issues on mobile (game creation, join game screens).

Great game... when it works
Love this game...the app makes it faster to play and its amazing....when it’s not crashing on you.
Quick tip...if the game starts to act weird on you.. draws that takes forever...a player plays a move but it is not showing on the log, a card is played, but in the log/card played is showing you something else... it’ll crash.
Also, why is the timer wrong 100% of the time? It’s never displaying the right time and /or same time as your friends.
Can’t count the amount of times that after a game of 2 hours, you can’t finish and see the result which for this type of slow pacing game is WRONG.
Please fix this game asmodee :)

Enough already - how about some fixes?
This is a great game... when it works. Playing multiplayer with friends and have yet to have a game without any issues. Usually, it is the turn notifications showing its your turn, but it isn’t. If you are drafting, you end up having to re-do your drafts each time. Something new today, after continuing to get notifications but no turn to do (action indicator absent), i got a message ‘You ran out of time’.
I’d wait until the glitches around turns notifications get fixed before buying this.
UPDATE to my post last week and reiterate my DO NOT BUY message. So many glitches with turn notifications and finished games that stay on the game list screen that a friend now refuses to play until fixed. These have not been new issues as can be seen by the many comments from many months ago. How about an update to fix this crappy coding. Don’t understand the high rating this app gets.

Very faithful adoption of the board game but a few things keep it from being a 5
The major pain point is that tags aren’t properly counted
You could have a card that requires 2 earth tags played for example and you won’t be able to play it because their algorithm for calculating tags on cards fails when multiple tags are present on a card.
Sometimes once you make a decision you’re locked into that decision with no way of undoing it and you’re forced to go through the action (such as activating space elevator)
Local games are restricted to pass and play instead of a lan type of solution
Only prelude expansion is available at the moment
Some of the things that led to the 4 is of course the faithfulness to the board game, the ability to speed up animations, and solo play
