Used to be good

It used to be wayyyy better. I have tried logging in via Macbook Pro, Chromebook, iPad, and iPhone. Everytime I try logining in or signing up it just takes me back to the website and tells me to download it. I already have it downloaded so everytime I try it I got so frusterated I snapped my chromebook in half. I just tried again on my iPad but it just says "Continue with google to access this account I press continue and keep trying to login with google and it keeps taking me back. I'm actually really sad because I have my account and all my friends on there. Don't even know their numbers. Our conversations are on there too. Also I used to love this app. I downloaded all the other ones but this one I really always trusted. Do Better Textnow.

Are you kidding?

I have been trying to sign up for the last hour. Every time I click sign up, it takes me to the website where it says download and sign up in the app. I go to the app to sign up and it takes me back to that damn webpage. I try logging in using apple ID and it says user doesn't exist. Seriously, what the hell kind of service is this? Why is there no customer support number? and if there is one, why the hell can't one find it EASILY?!

Work like a charm, consume resources like a dragon!

The first release of this software you (the one downloaded from their website) was buggy but worked OK. It was adequate.

The second release (downloaded from the AppStore) was HUGE we are talking TB in size. Despite that, it was very usable, stable and functional

This release is a disaster!!!!!
Indeed TextNow reduced its size as a software of this category should be.
Indeed this works very well, it does what it needs to do, functions well, syncs well and for that no complainst

Now, unless you have a super MacBook Pro with plenty of resources to spare and not run anything else this sofware is gorges on CPU. The notification subsistem will spike to 99% making other programs unable to run. Will overheat he reosurces and you will hear every fan trying to cool off your machine.

TextNow, perhaps you will need to get your QA and development team in the same room and anaylyze why and where you guys call the "usernoted" subsystem and never release it. It trly renders any Mac useless after a few minutes of running TextNow.

This behaviour can be easily replicated in Mojave, Sierra and HighSierra.
