Poor design and little support
This app is clearly made by someone who doesn’t use it. There are features that are missing which seem obvious to have like proper map integration, and there isn’t a way to move or reorder the stops at all so when you get a new job, it just randomly throws it in your list which is inefficient. The app constantly crashes and creates an “invalid driver” flag rendering the app useless until you call everyone to sort while you’re on the road... there is vast room for improvements here and maybe it would be worth a few discussions with actual drivers to get an idea of what options are going to make this app better
Needs map intergration like
Stop flipping the screen orientation! BATTERY HOG!
Stop flipping the screen orientation! This app will take your phone battery from 100% to 20% in 3-4 hours.
You say your constantly working to improve the app. Have you seen the bug fix list in ver1.4 It’s been 4 months in between an update.
This app may look okay to the developers in a office setting but out in the field it’s cumbersome. It displays large text that could be optimized to show more information, you have to do multiple screen taps to do a delivery, the submit button should show a summary of what your submitting instead of just a button and confirmation. Confirmation of what? Turning the scanner on and off at each stop what a cumbersome chore when your doing 100-200 stops a day! How about default it to ON when you press scan button if the scanners piece count equals the correct piece count automatically turn off scanner. It may not sound like much but that would save 400 taps on a 200 stop route. I’ve counted 10-12 screen taps per stop x 200 stops = 2400 screen taps per day. Figure out how to give the driver the information effectively to make the delivery as efficiently as possible.
The user interface is horrible. The layout is horrible and large and displays information across multiple screens that flip orientation while your delivering. Redundant submit buttons and screen taps.
This is at best a working beta.
