The Daily Beast Subscription Offering Agreement:
A subscription gives you unlimited access to content on-site and exclusive newsletters. Once your purchase is complete, payment will be charged to your iTunes account. By completing your purchase with the app store, you are agreeing to an auto-renewing subscription at the advertised rate.
Your subscription will automatically renew within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Monthly subscriptions will renew every calendar month, and annual subscriptions will renew once-yearly. If your subscription includes a free trial, you can cancel before the end of the trial period to avoid being charged.
You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renew by going to your iTunes account settings after purchase.

Get your act together
1. You charged me yesterday for a monthly.
2. And then you turned around and billed me today. Again.
3. So billed twice.
4. Bonus. Then you cancel my subscription.
Please fix. Apple refuses to help. This is ridiculous.
Decent enough app but why the ads?
With a paid subscription to The Daily Beast I shouldn't have to see Google ads. This is a deal breaker for me and I'm going to delete the app. Other than that, the interface and organization are fine. I'll wait until they streamline things a bit more and dump the ads.
