The One Ring has resurfaced in the deserted castle of Dol Guldur. It bestows unrivaled power to dominate Middle-earth on its bearer, luring peoples from all factions into a great war.
- Build A Fortified Settlement
Your settlement infrastructure dictates the efficacy of your strategies. Each building functions uniquely, and your power grows with the development of your settlement. Get well prepared for incoming warfares.
- Assemble Formidable Armies
From spearmen, archers, and knights to marvellous creatures and dreadful beasts—all forces must be mustered before the warfare is waged. Victory will be yours if your strategy is sound and your forces are mighty.
- Form Your Fellowship
As a Steward of Middle-earth, you must step into a vast world and take control by developing your settlement, expanding your territory and founding your own Fellowship. Grand challenges await.
- Expand Factional Territories

Pre ordered disappointment
Decent game too bad no real supervision of the weenies these games seem to draw for me just a bad memory now have fun
So disappointed…
Prime example of what happens when a game spends more on its marketing than its development.
This is a lame Clash of Clans type game with mediocre at best game play and a “Lord of the Rings” title slapped on. I’m sure some people like this type of game. But all it requires is a big wallet. “Your level 2 towers were destroyed. Repair and build level 3 towers.” “Your level 5 archers were killed. Restock and recruit/train level 6 archers.” There is no ingenuity, no new features, no creativity. It’s a shame that LOTR has allowed its name to be used on a game like this. You want to play a mobile game up to today’s standards? Try Call of Duty: Mobile - the game is celebrating its 2nd anniversary and has the most robust gameplay I’ve ever seen - or Knights of the Old Republic - a port of one of the best RPG games ever.
I mean JUST imagine how good this game could’ve been… Ever play Shadow of War? Amazing! LOTR Conquest? Super fun! This feels EXACTLY like the type of game you see in mobile ads that have no semblance to actual game play. The battles feel distant and insignificant, the mobs have no physics attached to them with a handful of animations.
Just really disappointed.
Like I literally have to force myself to play. It’s SO dull and one dimensional. There’s no experimenting, you can only be better or worse.
