Efficient and not boring
As a 4th year Medical student, I don’t have a whole lot of free time on my hands, and keeping in the loop with other conventional news sources is daunting and simply takes to much time. Thanks for making things easy, and enjoyable. I look forward to reading the skim every day.
Let me at least check it out
Makes you subscribe with your credit card before you even have a chance to see what the app is about. Let me check it out before asking for my money. Great concept, poor execution.
Paying for Ads
I enjoy The Skimm for its simplicity and convenience for getting news updates. But hate the fact that there are “sponsored ads” in the daily feed that cant be removed, even when I’m paying a monthly subscription. If I’m paying for a product I should be able to remove the ads.
