Nice app, is there option to turn sound off?

Simple as it should be. The only feature i lack - is turn off the sound, image an open space and everybody runs this app and it makes sound every now and then.

Great alternative

This is a great application and alternative to some of the expensive applications such as Focus ($30.00) for Mac. I like how the advertisements are not full-screen. They are shown underneath of the timer. The name is great and so is the user-interface. The application thumbnail could use some work but that does not affect how the app works. The only problem I have with this is that I cannot choose the time with a time-dial. I like dials because they are simple to use and minimalistic.

Overall 4.5/5

Great free solution

It's simple and does what it's supposed to do. You can detach the counter window and place it whereever you need on your desktop which is a function that even some of the paid apps don't have.

Someone wrote that it's eating up CPU. Maybe it did 5 years ago when the review was written or that person had a tiny CPU but currently it's using 0.4% of my CPU on a Mac Pro. It could be less considering how little it needs to do but, again, it's a free app.
