This is a fantastic App!

This is a great app, hats off the the developers!
The app offers tons of info for the drone user, maps, wind info, gusts, and yes for professional drone users there is a pay version for much more in depth info, in fact the developer has offered several pay packages to make it affordable to everyone’s needs, however I’ll be clear, the free version has everything and more for my flight time.
I noticed way to many NEGATIVE post in the comments because the Developer has a pay version, …you cheap assh&les, you have a drone that costs thousands of dollars and you complain over $9.99 for the basic plan, I spend more on coffee each day! Also…when you go to work, do you work for FREE ? If you can’t afford $9.99, then you can’t afford a drone…take up knitting!

We went from 24 hrs to 3.

While we still offer free comprehensive current conditions, near-term forecast, and no-fly-zone map, we have made the decision to limit the free forecast to 3 hours as a business.



Please understand that we are not obliged to offer a free service, and it is normal for businesses to charge for their services. Our drone-tailored forecasts are of the highest quality, and our unique winds aloft forecast, developed in-house, provides unmatched accuracy.


We believe our subscription pricing is competitive and affordable, at just $1 a month or $7 a year. If you would like to try the full 24-hour forecast, we offer a free trial when you register an account and contact us. We appreciate your understanding and hope you continue to find value in our app. If you feel the free service is not sufficient, you are free to explore alternatives.

Please note that the free 24 hour forecast is no available through old versions of the app. However, subscribing to the new Value subscription does require the latest version, and the old versions will stop working completely soon, so we do recommend updating as soon as possible.

No useful anymore

For the casual hobbyist, who needs to know if after work it’ll be nice to fly, this app is of no longer any use.

Sadly, I have understand the need to make money, but you could have run banner ads or something of the like. People hate subscription base stuff , and app developers do it more and more. At some point you cut out the apps that make no sense to pay for. This is now one of them. Especially when other apps offer 90% of this info for free or with ads.
