unDock 4+

I used the lite version of this app for about 3 months before purchasing, even with it's low price tag I was skeptical because I had been experiencing issues with the lite version. I am I ever glad I bought the full version, I have nothing bad to say about it!

It is great and does exactly what it's supposed to, the only little hitch I've noticed is when your using it with VMware Fusion.. Just make sure you shut down or suspend the VM BEFORE undocking, otherwise VMware will hang forever!!

After you've used unDock for a while, it's easy to forget how how simple it makes udocking, because it feels like it's part of the OS. Inexpensive, but essential app for me. You won't regret spending your two dollars.

The idea is simple: with a quick click (or keyboard shortcut) you can undock every external drive attached to your system. Fantastic! The only problem is when it doesn't work. Which for me, more often than not, is frequently.

When it works it works great. Disks are ejected fairly rapidly and I'm ready to move on. However, a lot of the time if I have more than 3 disks connected (which as a video editor is often) it will only eject a few. Then I have to try again. And sometimes again. I don't know if this is an issue with the system or the app itself but either way it's what keeps the app from being perfect.

Hopefully we'll see an improvement in the next release.
