"Uniden Dash View" is the companion app for the driving recorder dash cam, While your smart device is connected to the driving recorder’s WiFi connection, this app will allow you enjoy the following features:
• Live Viewfinder – See what your device is recording in real time.
• Video Save – Save the recorded video to your phone or watch it in the app.
• Video Playback – Playback your recorded videos on your smart device.
• Snapshot – Capture a saved snapshot at the push of a button.
• Share Video – You can edit and share videos to social platforms.
• Zoom Video – You can zoom the video to see more clearly.

Not really happy with the app
This app worked twice. Both times I used it to format the SD card. After that, once the phone connects to the dash cam, I cannot perform anything with the app. I tried accessing the settings, but I get a message saying I need to stop recording; however, when I try to stop the recording, the app does not perform any of the command buttons available.
Also, while it shows that is connected, it does not show the live feed while the dash cam is running. I only have a black screen.
I tried deleting the app, and re-installing it. Didn’t help.
Quite disappointing, honestly.
Reset your dashcam before updating
After reset, the dashcam should work again.
Connect to wifi, connect to camera. Make sure you have micro sd card rated u3. And not more than 64 gb.
Not worth it
The camera and the app don’t work well at all. Buy another product. The Wi-Fi keeps dropping out constantly and is incredibly frustrating.
