Version 2.8.0
Hello. I've been getting up early recently to work on development.
This time, it's a series of minor improvements:
- Improved pause functionality at specific characters
- Elimination of ads
- Audio settings for Hebrew and Vietnamese
Firstly, the recent update enabled the ability to pause at specific characters, which was originally settable in seconds only. Now, it has been made possible to set this in 0.1-second increments.
This was in response to requests for easier listening by adjusting the timing at punctuation marks. Thank you for the great feedback.
Also, I've decided to eliminate ads in the free version. Along with this, I've added features like a countdown to the next free playback, but I'll adjust these as needed based on how things go.
Moreover, Voicepaper can read aloud in all languages on iPhone, but the setting for standard voice speed is done through Voicepaper's audio settings. Now, we have added support for Hebrew and Vietnamese. If there's any other language you'd like us to support, please let us know.

Amazing - Used Every Day
Amazing app as part of several workflows. Been around for a very long time and has been incredibly reliable.
My use case is to be able to listen to many different sources of news when I otherwise would not be able to look at my phone, such as when walking or driving. I can add articles to Pocket when I find something to listen to later. From there Voicepaper imports them and I have a continuous source of news articles to listen to.
The author has been very responsive to feedback, and all bug reports are follow up on. It’s the best experience I’ve had with any app.

Worth the yearly subscription
Same cost as one month audible subscription but I can copy any PDF into it and reads it. Books for days!!!
