Description
WebDAVNav Server is a basic WebDAV server which can be used to quickly share files and folders from your Mac with other computers, mobile devices and apps, including WebDAV Navigator available in the iOS App Store.
* Quick setup, select the folder to share and click the Start button
* Download, Upload, Rename, Copy and Move files in your selected folder
* Includes the ability to set a username and password if required
* Support for HTTPS using provided .p12 certificate and private key
* Option to generate self-signed certificate if required
* View shared folder contents through a web browser using the HTML interface
* Drag and drop folders on the status icon to start sharing a new folder

Ratings and Reviews
Great App. A few tweaks would make it even better
I used this app to set up a local WebDav server so that I can sync my Omnifocus 2 database over wifi between my Mac and my iPhone. This works great.
A few suggestions :
- change icon. The folder icon looks well like a folder!
- use https
- change icon colour in status bar. When you first launch the app and server has not been started, the icon in the status bar is barely visible. It is gray on gray. Once running it turns black. It took me a few minutes to see that the app was actually running.
- allow the server address to be selectable, so that I can copy and paste it into other apps
Appreciate this!
This app makes WebDAV easy, which is remarkable. I used this to sync my DEVONthink database, my OmniOutliner documents, and as a simple web server to share files as well. Thanks for making this fantastic app!
Works Great
I mean it works, supports multiple folders, and allows upload. Plus it's developed with support going pretty far back which is much appreacated (offices stuck on High Sierra OS X server represent), is actively developed and free!
Ideally, it could integrate support for mulitple users... either through unix permissions or it's own custom flavour adding access based on the share points... but that's really all it's missing.
