Works well, but some issues

My use for this app may be a bit different from some, I only convert from WEBP back to original GIF or JPG/PNG format.

With that in mind, the interface is somewhat confusing, being unclear which options are applicable for which types of conversion; it seems most options, though active, either don't work or have no effect for the above conversions.

The interface is somewhat unconventional in several ways, and rather unintuitive. For example, if you select no images, it converts them all, if you select any inmages, it only converts those, and if you select them all, it will also convert them all. But once you select any image, you cannot go back to not selecting any, unless you stumble across the non-standard way of clearing the selection which is to click on the text that indicates how many images have been selected. I also found things like, if changing info in an option field and you don't press return, you can still click somewhere else but the interface and app doesn't behave normally until you go back and press return on the original field. There are a number of other odd interface bugs and quirks, but I will simply say that hopefully, once you select your options and get used to the app, you will hardly use or notice those aspects (which doesn't make them acceptable, just not a huge issue). Another issue is menu/toolbar items being cut-off, not displayed, unless you manually enlarge the window each time; this is particularly noticable on the Preview window when viewing smaller/average size images.

Also, the Preview feature doesn't work, at least not in the case of an animated WEBP - the split screen (with sliding split line) before/after view is pointless because it actually shows different frames of the animation on each side of the before/after spllit window.

I found the conversions do work well from WEBP to GIF (animated), with a pretty good, but not optimized, output file size. Conversion time is slow, a half-dozen 5MB WEBP (GIF) files takes a very long time (Mac M1, Ventura). Also note that this app will overwrite existing files without any dialog or warning!

Overall, I'd say this app has great protential if the interface gets the many bugs fixed, becomes more conventional/intuitive/clear, and the Preview feature gets fixed. A warning or option for overwriting files definitely also needs ot be added. I'd recommend it with some reservations, in the hope they would be remedied soon.
