Great app but needs improvements

Great mental health app. I’ve tried lots and I like this one. Very helpful and competent in tracking your mood and progress. Centres around stress, anxiety, and depression.

A lot of times when I tap/click on something it doesn’t respond, or the response is extremely delayed.

When recording my mood, I would like to be able to select more than one activity that I’m doing. For example, I might be on social media, and lying in bed. Or on social media at a cafe. Very different but important to keep track of. I also do not like the scatter plot graph, you should be able to zoom in and out and a linear graph option would be nice. I want to be able to see how my mood is on average throughout the days, weeks, months. This would help a lot more in self assessing and tracking my mental wellness. The amount of checks per day is not as relevant nor is the time of day.

In the Thought Diary tool, it is unhelpful to have to identify an unhelpful thinking style for all your thoughts related to an emotion. This assumes that all your thoughts are unhelpful. There should be an option to identify helpful thoughts as well. An option to analyze more than one thought per emotion would also be nice.

Please consider adding DBT (dialectical behavioural therapy) components into the app. Specifically emotional regulation (accepting emotions) I think is quite universal and not at all touched on in the app. Including the “cycle of an emotion” analyzing into the app would be wonderful. Thank you.

Too many notifications

I haven’t really tried the app just yet, but did download it through my college. However, I get anywhere between 2-4 notifications A DAY, saying the exact same thing: “Have you checked your mood today?”.

Now, I’m understanding that this is a helpful reminder and all they’re trying to do is make sure people take care of their mental health, that’s not the issue. The issue is that clearly the app can read if someone has logged information on any specific day. So why keep asking something that the app will clearly already know?

I mean, if it read “Don’t forget to check and log your mood today!” Or something similar, it would be less annoying. But even then, why do I need to log this stuff 4 times a day?

These notifications tell me one thing: they’re desperate. If it was one or two notifications, sure, whatever. But why are you sending me four a day... that screams that the app is struggling.

I don’t know, that’s my opinion. I’ll eventually get around to trying the app but I can only comment on this for now. Hopefully it’s just me that this bugs and other people won’t find it as annoying and can actually reap the benefits this app offers. I’ll try it eventually, just not quite yet.

There are tons of typos in here and I can’t delete mood checks. I didn’t know how the app worked and I saved the thing before I was finished, so I wanted to delete it and make a new full one but I can not delete it. I have pressed delete over a dozen times in both button locations, restarted the app four times and restarted my phone, and it won’t go away. This is absolutely maddening, and I don’t deal with that sort of thing well. This frustration might make me unable to use the app. Don’t include options that don’t work.
