EXPLORE
Deploy squads on expeditions into the infected zone. Explore a ferocious landscape scattered with remnants of Xenowerk's absurd research facilities. Use skills, traits and mutations to mitigate the dangers, horrors and mishaps during your journeys.
Push your operatives to the limit, not to waste any precious time. Explore jungles, swamps, laboratories, shelters and factories. Scavenge for valuable resources. Carry out various missions. Secure strategic safe zones. Find and rescue M.I.A. operatives.
FIGHT
Control your squad in real-time combat against hordes of mutants. Use operative skills and mutations, such as Frag Grenade, Bait & Trap, Adrenaline, Pyrokinesis and much more, to skew the odds in your favor. Activate Tactical Pause at any time to give more detailed orders.
MANAGE
Recruit and evolve Marines, Rangers and Scientists as your operatives. But choose wisely, some may obtain dubious traits or mutations.
Spend gathered resources to enhance your base of operations; Barracks, Recruitment, Field hospital, Armory, etc. Spend earnings on treatments, upgrades and recruitment.
Cater for the whims of the Xenowerk Management to keep getting funded. Earn some extra cash-under-the-table by selling off resources on the Black Market. Or maybe try to save the world...

Awesome game
Kinda like if Darkest Dungeon and Xcom had a realtime with pause combat baby. I also like the tactical retreat we can do, it realy capture the feeling like in the movie Aliens from James Cameron. The only downside i find is, soldier from the same class could have different skills to make them more unique
Awesome for sci-fi/horror fan
Even though the game itself doesn't try to be scary with its story, the missions are tense and the mutant designs are top notch. I haven't finished it yet, but I can already say what I love about it, and what could be better.
(+) The atmosphere, level design and mutant design
(+) The mutation system. It's awesome.
(+) The narrative (so far at least)
(+) The exploration aspect of the game
(-) The character diversity in combat. More abilities (or a randomized set of combat-oriented skills) would add more variety to a squad.
(-) The graphics are a bit off, but the lighting kinda makes up for it.
(-) Same armor and weaponry for characters of the same class. The ability to switch weapons/armor would be great.
Awesome game
Do the free trial. My guess is you will buy the full version. It’s a cool game. Has an XCOM feel to it that i love. Levelling up different crew and their class specific skills. Easy to play/move separately or as a squad. Try it out. ***** <——-5 stars (sept 29,2023)
