Don’t bother
I submitted my name, phone number, and school email and it says it can’t find my school yet my friends who go to the same school were able to register???
The app is full of “trigger words” you can’t post and you don’t find out about until you try and post something. They’re not context dependent so it doesn’t matter if your post is positive or negative.
A few of my friends who were able to get registered have shown me how dead the app is and it’s only getting worse.
The app is dead, bury it.
App is now useless. Don’t bother.
Yak now requires you to verify your phone number, and your college or university email.
After jumping through these hoops it tells me, we couldn’t find your school, and I’m completely unable to use the app after both verifications.
Don’t waste your time with this app anymore. It was great many years ago.
