Worked as advertised

Was able to get two sacks of laundry cleaned in 24 hours for under €70 (including the €15 fee for express service) while staying in Paris, paying by the kilogram. Our hotel would have charged by the piece and cost easily triple that for this many garments.

Very convenient option if you don't want to pay more than the clothes are worth to wash them, but also don't want to waste a day of your vacation hanging around a laundromat.

We paid only for laundry, no dry cleaning or pressing, and the clothes came back roughly folded and wrapped in clear plastic. This was fine for us, but be warned if your clothing is prone to unsightly wrinkles: you will need to either hang or press it yourself, or pay extra to have it done for you.

AVOID USING ZIPJET!

I should have known from the start that this service was juvenile. Firstly, when I tried to create a profile to create a profile in order to check the rates, they sneakily signed me up for collection of my clothing the next day before I was even able to confirm an order. Secondly, when I received my clothing back, my £50 top was missing and I had been given someone else's dress. They had no idea of their mess up and I had to deal with this situation on my own with little help or sympathy. Thirdly, they ruined my £30 blouse, it was returned to me full of blue dye stains and a letter which wrote "sorry, we were unable to remove the stains", as if I was the one who was responsible for them (please note it was sent to them for cleaning with a small liquid stain - that was clear). Fourthly, they made me pay for 24-hour delivery and did not provide me with this service.

Finally, I've asked for them to refund the delivery charge, compensate me for my shirt, and return my list item, and remove the charge for "cleaning" my blouse (which they ruined). They told me they could provide me with a zipjet credit and referred me to the terms and conditions, i.e. We will not be held responsible for damages done to your property.

Awful service and hopefully I can save someone else the headache with this review.
