To use the app, either scan barcodes of packaged food items or snap a photo of your meals—the app will then leverage the machine-learning framework built into the iOS to recognize what’s in the picture and offer suggestions on how to log those items.

Lose It! can create a daily calorie budget for you and calculate how quickly you may shed pounds if you stick to it.
