This is how Parker & Lane, a crime-themed, time-management game begins. You control Parker, a rookie detective who has to fight crime and the sexism of her industry at the same time, in order to get to the bottom of a spate of murders. As the story progresses and more bodies are discovered, you must partner up with a sleazebag lawyer, Lane, to crack the case.
The gameplay revolves around completing tasks and organizing a team of investigators in the quickest and most efficient way possible.
Your job is to dispatch the forensics and police officers around the crime scenes or the police station, delivering the required equipment to them. Within each scene there are mini-games to complete, such as collecting evidence specimens with a pipette or identifying clothing fibres.
Whether you fail or get full marks on an investigation will depend on your ability to make quick decisions and prioritize actions at high speed. As you get absorbed in the story and are rooting for this rookie officer, you won't want to let Parker down.
