Overwhelmed by your inbox? Microsoft Outlook prioritizes organization and efficiency to help you speed through all those messages.

You can connect just about any email and calendar accounts you have—Gmail, iCloud, and, of course, Outlook itself. Once you do, sort through your inboxes with simple swipe gestures.

Outlook’s focused inbox will help you get to your most important emails first.

Customize gestures to interact with your email on your own terms. The first time you swipe on a message, you’ll be presented with customization options, and you can always change them later in Settings.

For example, swiping right on a message might delete that email, while swiping left can schedule a reminder to follow up on it later. Other swiping options include archiving, flagging, or marking as read or unread.

Outlook’s calendars can highlight important events from your email and popular sports leagues alike.

Search in Outlook is powerful as well: it hunts not just for a specific email message but also for attached files, contacts, or upcoming trips mentioned in emails or listed on your calendar.

You can view and attach any file from your email to services like OneDrive and Dropbox, as well as to Word, Excel, and more, without having to download them to your iPhone. Add other app accounts such as Facebook, Evernote, and Trello to Outlook to get messaging and notifications for those apps right alongside your email.

In Outlook, you can also subscribe to Microsoft Office 365 to get full access to apps like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and PC. To subscribe, just log in to any Microsoft Office app and upgrade.
