Microsoft To Do

Capture Tasks & Set Reminders

View

Microsoft To Do, created by the team behind the beloved app Wunderlist, feels like a breath of fresh air among to-do apps.

Everything about the app is distinctly bare bones. But that’s the point! Microsoft To Do stays distraction-free so you can track tasks with ease. There’s even a satisfying sound when you check off an item. (You could switch this off, but why?)

No clutter. Just action items.

Although Microsoft To Do does simple really well (to create a list, just tap the plus sign), the app can also meet you at your most obsessive. Tap a task to add subtasks, reminders, due dates, files, and additional notes. This is also where you can make a task recurring. The default My Day view bubbles up only what needs your attention right now.

To Do works seamlessly with Reminders and Siri. To set it up, go to Settings > Passwords & Accounts > Add Account, and enter your Microsoft Exchange or Outlook.com login information. Then go to Settings > Reminders and make your Microsoft account the default. Now when you say “Hey Siri, remind me to pick up the dry cleaning,” the note will automatically be added to To Do.
