Whether your phone is in your hand or your pocket, Pacer will automatically count your steps—you can also link to the Health app and keep track with your Apple Watch.

The pedometer is particularly useful if you want to hit a specific daily step goal. Pacer is always on hand to keep you motivated with goals and missions—competing with others around the world for total steps or distance walked is a fun incentive to stay fit and active.

Pacer has an active community of users—try joining a group of like-minded walkers and take on new challenges to keep things interesting. In the Explore tab, you’ll find nearby groups and saved routes.

You can sync with friends who use the app too. Sharing steps, activities, and milestones, or creating your own walking groups, can help you build a support network of fellow walkers.
