Meditation and mindfulness app Calm now features a Sleep Remix Series. Chart-topping tracks have been transformed into relaxing tunes that encourage a better night’s sleep.
It includes deconstructed versions of “Breathin” by Ariana Grande, Katy Perry’s “Double Rainbow”, “Wonder” by Shawn Mendes, and Post Malone’s “Circles”, as well as tracks from Jhené Aiko, Luis Fonsi, and Kacey Musgraves.
The Sleep Remix Series goes much further than classic rainfall and rainforest sounds. Each remix, regardless of its original genre, is at a slower tempo—almost like a lullaby.
Each track continues for a full hour, so there’s little to no chance of you being pulled out of the moment to press play on a new song. Multiple studies have shown that it takes at least 40-60 minutes for the average person to reach their deepest sleep cycle.
