Ready to race down a hill so steep it’s basically vertical? Launch off dirt jumps so high they’d frighten a window washer? And do it all without splashing mud on your clothes? Clip into Bike Unchained 2.
Bike Unchained 2 takes extreme sports games to a new level: tense downhill races played online against real people accompanied by a blood-pumping EDM/pop-punk soundtrack.
The controls are beautifully streamlined: Just tap to jump, pedal, and land. You’re guided through the finer details by famed cyclist Tahnée Seagrave, who lends you some free bike parts. And Seagrave isn’t the only pro helping you—she’s joined by a cast of real-world athletes, including Carson Storch, Szymon Godziek, and Darren Berrecloth.
When you want a break from straight-up racing, switch to the thrilling Slopestyle mode. Thunder downhill and try to land tricks, from basic barspins to the near-impossible Seatgrab Superman (leap off your bike in midair while hanging on to the seat with one hand). Be bold, but also be sure to build up enough speed before you sail off ramps.
Bike Unchained 2’s console-quality graphics breathe life into stunning forests and gorgeous cliffs. If you weren’t zooming past them at breakneck speed—striving to shave off milliseconds that could cost you the win—you might even get in a little sightseeing.
