Metronaut Sheet Music

Practice Violin Piano Flute...

View

Are you a beginning clarinetist who dreams of performing with an orchestra? Or a professional singer rehearsing a difficult aria? You don’t have to practice alone. Metronaut provides you with a vast library of classical music scores—and the orchestral accompaniment to go with it.

Start by letting Metronaut know your vocal range—soprano, alto, tenor, baritone, bass—or the instrument you play. Options include strings (violin, viola, cello), woodwinds (flute, clarinet) and brass instruments (trumpet, tuba, French horn).

Can’t find the song you want to play in Metronaut’s library? Suggest one or vote for other users’ submissions. New pieces are continually being added.

When you’re ready to practice, the app displays the musical score while an orchestra or other instruments play along. Enable Magic mode and the virtual accompanist will adapt to your tempo—handy for learning a new piece.

Metronaut can filter its sheet-music library down to those best suited for your instrument. You’ll find all the hits here: works by Mozart (from chamber pieces to arias), Bach (violin concerti and solo piano works abound), and Schubert (“Ave Maria” anyone?).

If you like, you can record your performance. Share it with your friends or your teacher—or save it to look back on when you make it to Roy Thompson Hall.
