Make your photos and videos pop! Prequel: Video & Photo Editor is designed to make all your photos and videos share-ready, with a good range of photo filters, glitchy effects, and retro styles.

You can also add sound effects, which you might find yourself regretting telling the kids about.

Most of the filters are available on everything, so, for example you can apply photo filters to video (although, as you might expect, animated film filters don’t work on static images).

Applying cool filters and effects to your photos is easy and fun.

The quality is very high, and we particularly liked the filters that mimicked the view from rain-dashed windows or re-created the light leaks of old cameras.

The app also has a cool Selfie Camera, with real-time effects and post-shot filtering to make your teeth whiter, your skin smoother, and your coat glossier. OK, that last one only really applies to animals.
