STORY & FILM does all the preparatory work for you, which will relieve you of a lot of work when you later cut and merge your film material. Every good story has a plan, and it saves time!

With STORY & FILM you divide your story into STORYPARTS, SCENES and SHOTS. This is a common subdivision to keep track of the narrative structure and connections.

WITH STORY & FILM YOU CAN ...

› give your story a structure and narrative action in an extended storyboard feeling,

› draw up a plan for the filming on site and the subsequent editing, no matter how long your film is - and always and everywhere, wherever your iPhone is also with you,

› build on existing story structures using templates,

› simply add story parts, scenes and shots via DRAG & DROP and expand your story - from a factory preset list or from self-created presets and specifications,

› use the DIALOGMANAGER and DIALOG-MAKER to prepare your narration texts and dialogues and assign scenes,

› inform you about further setting options at the location,

› put your previous footage into a story and put events / situations / images in the right place,

› create a tabular shotlist and share it as a CSV or PDF file,

› export your shotlist as a marker for Adobe Premiere® and for BMD Davinci Resolve®,

› use the app as a checklist for your next shoot,

› check the “liveliness” of your story, based on given and editable TENSIN ARC.

› let yourself be inspired by the possibilities with which you can create a scene or a shot,

› record your shots while shooting with image / number / scene and access the right clip when cutting,


STORY & FILM is a powerful tool and offers you a lot of possibilities, but you determine the amount! There are therefore NO mandatory fields in STORY & FILM! This means that you have the option of adjusting a lot or not and can only openly and informally give an idea a structure.

AND! Yes, that is also important nowadays: STORY & FILM DOES NOT use ANY INTERNAL USER ANALYSIS! The data stays with you.


By the way, this app version works perfectly on the iPad, but has not yet been optimized for it!
