No network connection needed once maps are installed. Record your track, and share GPX files with other apps and devices. Hybrid map mode combines topo with imagery. Version 2.4

The new features in this version are mostly related to panoramas. You can add labels to panoramas, to mark summits and other features. You can attach your photos to panoramas. There is now an additional compass mode for panoramas, Full Rotation. You can now export panoramas as JPEG images. Also, you can now choose whether your location is shown by a blue spot, as before, or by an arrow indicating the direction in which you are facing.
