You'll be able to send audio from any audio app, like iTunes, Rdio, or Spotify, as well as web-based sources like Pandora and more. Hear your audio anywhere around the house!

Just connect your device to your local Wifi network, then open up Airfoil on your Mac or Windows machine, and start transmitting to your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad.

USERS ON iOS 7 AND UP SHOULD SWITCH TO AIRFOIL SATELLITE NOW!

The free “Airfoil Satellite” provides all the functionality of Airfoil Speakers Touch and much more, including remote control of Airfoil and supported sources.

Airfoil Speakers Touch has been deprecated, and is intended only for devices running iOS 6, iOS 5, or iOS 4.

* The ability to receive audio from iTunes and iOS is now fully removed. Those who added this functionality back in 2012 via the “Enhanced Audio Receiving” in-app purchase may wish to avoid this update.

* Several minor bug fixes and improvements are also included, as well as support for 4" screens.

Die App währe nicht schlecht aber das Programm auf den Mac muss gekauft werden. (Nach 10 Min bricht das free Programm ab)

Great idea, bad execution

Airfoil would be brilliant, if it wasn't for the ridiculously huge audio latency of about 1 sec (!). For any audio that even remotely needs to be in sync with anything else (like video), it's pretty much useless. How about giving us at least the option of a low latency audio codec for watching videos or movies, Rogue Amoebia?
